“We are so grateful for the knowledge, expertise, and patience of the Lorena Byrod!
For years we had asked our daughter’s school to test for dyslexia. However, because she had figured out self coping strategies to get by, and had decent grades, she didn’t meet their standards for testing. We decided it was well worth it to pay privately to get the assessments she needed. Lorena’s assessments are extremely thorough, and multi faceted. Our daughter was initially nervous for the testing, but once Lorena walked in our house for the assessments, her genuine smile and easy way she chatted with our daughter made her feel comfortable. She was able to confirm our daughters dyslexia, and defined specifically what types she has. Lorena helped our daughter gain confidence back by helping her understand there’s a reason some learning is harder for her, and identify strategies and accommodations that would help her succeed in school!
